This is a report of a
trip I made at the end of October 2008. Having already done Holland
this year I decided to head over to Brussels to do a few parks in
Belgium. This trip reports on my visit to 3 Belgium parks, and on
some sightseeing in Brussels.
If your thinking about a trip to any of
these parks a useful site is this one for the
Belgium Train System. It
will let you plan your journeys in advance, and even let you buy
tickets to print out. One thing I would warn, especially if your
using public transport is that English isn't as widely spoken in
Belgium as it is in other countries in Europe, so if you don't speak
much Dutch or French I wouldn't recommend trying a visit to
Belgium until you've had a little experience organising a trip
abroad in a country where English is more widely spoken first. |
