This is a report of a
trip we made to The Netherlands at the end of July in 2008. During
which we were staying at my Uncles house, while he was in the U.K.
staying with my Mum.
This was quite a big step, in that it was the first foreign trip
we've done that wasn't either Disney or based around City locations.
Holland is a good country of choice to do this as it has good
transport links.
This site is particularly useful as it lets you plan your trips
with train times, and you can also select an attraction or zoo you
wish to travel to and it will give you information on which buses
you can catch. If you do plan to do this it's worth reading about
the Stripenkarts used on buses in Holland in the transport section
of this
site. This
report has photos and a report from Walibi World, and Efteling. We
were planning to do Toverland on day 5 as well, but ran in to
problems with transport. Also included are reports from some of the
zoos we visited, with links to my
FlickR account
with photos from that zoo. |
