Numbers 101 to 150

This is an ongoing record of the roller coasters I have ridden. I've numbered every roller coaster to show the order which I rode them in. I've also put an extra number in brackets. This number is the coaster count of English roller coasters I've ridden, as I thought it would be interesting to keep track of that in this log as well.

Balder
Liseberg (Sweden)

The coastering hi-light of the trip had to be what is now one of my all time favourite roller coasters Balder.

The Dragon
Dreamland Margate

I checked and at the time of writing Margate is 4th in the rankings of how many coasters I've done at a park. Only to be beaten by the big names of Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Europa Park. That's because of the changes in who's running it, meaning there's always a new kiddie coaster to add to my count on every visit.

Tyrolean Tubwist
Joyland, Great Yarmouth

(70)

Spook Express
Joyland, Great Yarmouth

The Snails
Joyland, Great Yarmouth

This one is pushing it a little, including it as a powered coaster. It does make it on to the roller coaster database, and does coast freely over some parts so I include it.

Mine Train
Fort Fun

This is one I remembered doing as a kid after starting the count, so the number isn't correct, but it went in at 111 as this is when I remembered I rode this one.

Rock N Roller Coaster
Disneyland, Paris

My first trip to Disneyland Paris was the year it opened, and I'm surprised I didn't get to it again for around a decade. During this time there was a new park, and a big improvement in the number of coasters.

Crazy Mouse
South Pier, Blackpool

Due to the limited time we have off work this was quite a big trip. We had to get the Eurostar from Paris to Ashford, and from there a train to Blackpool to do the club trip there, before getting the train back home a couple of days later.

Clown Coaster
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Some People don't count these coasters. I say not doing the small kids coasters and counting them takes away a lot of the fun.

Manhatten Express (Renamed The Roller Coaster)
Las Vegas

It took a while to save up for it, but eventually I was able to afford a holiday doing Las Vegas and San Francisco. There's lots of things to see in Las Vegas, some of my favourites where the Secret Garden at the Mirage, with it's Dolphins and White Tigers and the Venetian. There are also some coasters to try.
This one has been criticised  for being rough to ride. I didn't find it to bad, and I went on after night, with the strip lit up and it's a highly memorable experience.

Hi Roller
Las Vegas

This is the one that was located on the top of the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas. It was a pretty tame coaster, but remains an experience due to it being on the edge of such a high building.

Stealth wasn't the only coaster of note to open in 2006, there was Speed at Oakwood, coming shortly, and the Cobra, a great family coaster at Paultons Park. As well as this being my 90th English coaster it was also my girlfriends 50th.

Speedy Gonzalez
Travelling - Foire Du Trone, Paris.

This was part of a weekend trip to Paris I did with the European Coaster Club. This has to be my most intense period of coaster counting to date with 17 new coasters on the list in 3 days.

Number 150 isn't a major landmark, as you might have guessed from the fact it's a Big Apple coaster.
