Day 2: The Magic Kingdom

Day 2 of the trip, and it was time for our first day in the Magic Kingdom. Thanks to the fact we were staying at a resort hotel we got some extra privileges. They let guests in to the park early to get to go on some of the rides before the general public, and you can even pre book it so you can have your breakfast at the park.

From there it was a short walk around the lake, and through the village to the Hotel guests gate, were your Hotel pass lets you in two hours early.

In case you'd forgotten, they put up some suttle reminders that Halloween is approaching.

2007 is also the parks 15th anniversary, another fact your reminded of as you walk down Main Street.

Much of Main Street is decorated in the orange Halloween gloop, which apparently in extracted with a big drill in Frontier land.

Sleeping Beauty's castle  has been especially decorated for the 15th anniversary with some beautiful statues of various Disney characters.
