This is one of several fun houses at the park.
Also in this area is a ride called the Circus Hoppala.
It has a movement similar to a Ranger or inverted Pirate
Ship, but has Top Spin style seats that can rotate
freely or lock in place. It creates a really intense
sensation as it spins round, with all the blood being
forced in to your head.
|
|
Another thing I would have liked to have done if
I had more money is do some of the rides I skipped
because they where similar to rides I've done elsewhere.
This is one of several new rides for 2008 called Turbo,
which is a Screaming Swing like Rush at Thorpe
Park.

|
Being one of the Worlds oldest amusement parks
there are a number of historical rides at it. Included
is this Caroussel with pony powered chariots. Perhaps
the only ride in the world where you can stop and count
the number of horse power.
|
|
Another historic ride at the park, and my 200th
roller coaster is this scenic railway coaster called
Hochschaubahn.
|
|
It's probably the least thrilling of the six
scenic railways I've done, but the most well decorated.
It's themed as an Austrian mountain range, and also
features a large number of gnomes.

According to the park map Prater has 5 adult
dodgems, two kiddie dodgems plus several sets of Go
Karts. Next time I go I'll have to try going around
and do every one in one
evening

|
Here's an example of a ride being crammed in to a
space in order to extract more money from visitors. This
is a kiddie pirate ship themed as a Killer
Whale.
|
|
This is another historic ride, that's a giant
slide called the Toboggan. Unfortunately it was in a
state of disrepair when I visited so I couldn't ride
it.
|
|
This is another odd ride. It's a wooden kiddie
coaster with little car shaped cars. Sadly it's not
possible for an adult to fit in them, so it's not a
potential extra coaster count for any visiting
adults.
|
|
This is another one of the dark rides found at
the park. By the looks of it this one has a fairy tale
theme.
