Adventure Island does seem to specialise a bit in thrill rides aimed at young kids. You've got the Archelon, Pharoahs's Fury, Sk8Borda, the Fireball, the Cow Jumped Over The Moon, and this. All they're missing is a mini pirate ship.

This is a 4 sided tower ride, which I was expecting to function along the same lines of a frog hopper, that sees you doing a lot of small jumps. Instead it functions more like a mini version of a drop n bounce tower. Your lifted to the top of the tower, before descending, and then going back up again.

Unfortunately as a small tower, with restraints designed to allow small kids on it means it's a very tame ride. In fact I reckon if I closed my eyes I'd struggle to tell if it was going up or down.

As a thrill rides for young kids, it's just about o.k., but even as a thrill rides for slightly older family groups it doesn't offer much. Not one to prioritise on a visit to the park.
