I think I
read on the parks web site that this ride was a world exclusive to the the
park. The only ride like it in the world. I think this refers to the
theming of the ride, that's been themed around a Pharaoh, with Egyptian
style pods and arms. The basic stripped down ride is pretty common place at amusement parks and
fun fairs. It's a twist ride where you move in a set pattern on wheels,
where you're forced outwards, and it looks like you're going to hit the
sides. It's not there
in terms of thrills with other big thrill rides, but it is themed and aimed
at families,
and
it's not to bad a ride for that market. The theming also helps add a little
more excitement as it creates a head chopper effect as you pass under the
beams. Not exactly a must do, but with the short queues at Adventure Island
it's still worth a go. |
