Thinking about it, how many parks are there that have a claim to have a Helta Skelta as one of the signature rides. O.K. maybe some parks with a very poor ride selection, but I can't think of another one where the Helta Skelta has become a recognised landmark like it has here.

It's one of the main landmarks you see on the view of Brighton seafront. It also appears in the Snowman cartoon they used to show every Christmas, (do they still show it, or have Wallace and Gromit taken over?)

It's basically a big slide. Quite good as slides go. You go down it at a surprisingly fast speed, and you get a good view from the top. It's a ride that achieves everything it sets out to do, but it only sets out to achieve something basic.
