What is it
about Tusauads and not being able to do a good log flume ride. O.K.
there's Logger's Leap, but they brought that with the rest of Thorpe
Park, they didn't design it.
I think one of the problems
with this ride (and the one at Alton Towers) is the age of the
rides. Both are over 10 years ago, and technology has come along a
long way since then. The Layout of this track is very tame with no
really significant drops.
Some areas of this ride
have been themed very elaborately. The main drop has been set
between 2 giant statues, and there's a good tunnel entrance based on
a giant dragon. It's a shame the whole ride isn't done this well, as there
are other areas of little interest where I started noticing things
like the supports holding up the tunnels.
It's not a bad ride, but it
doesn't have enough going for it to be more than average.
