One of Blackpool's big claims about Infusion is it was the worlds first roller coaster completely set over water. Well a large amount of this one is over water as well, in fact it would only have taken a bit of work to extend the lake enough at the end of 2006, and Blackpool would have had one less dubious claim to make.

The ride itself is a pretty standard affair. It's a family coaster with a runaway train theme. Sadly this is nothing to do with Del Shanon (sorry to the 95% of you who didn't get that, and the other 5% who didn't find it that funny) but instead it has a station and train with a basic mine train theme. Experience wise it's a pretty middle of the road ride, it doesn't particularly stand out, but it's not particularly bad either. It has a good layout in a pretty compact area, but doesn't get a high enough perception of speed to make the most of the layout. It's a ride worth doing once, but not one your likely to want repeat goes on.
