This ride is a little reminiscent of a kids ride I remember from when I was young. You go around in a seat that goes around in a big circle on an arm which can be made to go up and down.

The main differences here are it's the ride operator who makes the seats go up and down, as opposed to rides I used to go on where you could control it yourself, and the up and down motion is more violent and exciting.
