Circulators Old Theming

This is a ride I remember from when I last visited Flamingo Land over a decade ago when it was known as the Terrorizer. Since then there have been a few changes. It's had quite a noticeable make over in order to hide it's origins as a funfair style ride, and it now fits quite nicely in to the Metropolis area of the park. The other change is in me, I've ridden a lot more scary thrill rides and coasters since I last rode this, so I don't find this one as scary any more. It's interesting to see what was once one of the parks main rides, now as just part of the mix.

The ride is a pretty good set up. It's a full arm which turns around a full 360 degrees. On the end is a large circular pod with seats round the edge, which are on a bearing which tilts down during the ride. It comes across as an experience style thrill ride. It never moves fast enough to create thrills that way. The g-force is interesting, you don't really notice it until after the ride, when you feel your equilibrium temporarily upset. What it does well though is move you threw a number of scary positions, including high up, facing down at the ground, and upside down. It does this with enough variety to avoid being repetitive. It may not be one of Flamingo Lands signature rides anymore, but it's still a good  addition to the mix.
