I've just had a thought. The food stand next to this is currently called Long John's Kiosk. Even though there is only one Pirate themed ride in the area, and there isn't any pirate models or theming in the area. Well instead of that they should call it Kontiki fried chicken. I can't believe they missed out on that opportunity.

It's not a major surprise to see this ride at Paultons given there emphasis on junior family thrills. Since this type of ride came on the market it's been a popular addition to quite a few parks.

It's themed around a small boat that rocks up and down on a small curved piece of track while the boat slowly spins round. A slight problem I feel is the spinning does feel a little predictable with you following the same pattern on each swing of the boat. I think it would work better if it spun at a different speed, or changed speed to add a more unpredictable feel to the ride. It's a nice well decorated fun little junior family ride. It is worth a quick go on it when visiting the park.
