The tractor ride is one that I seem to be seeing quite a lot more of in recent years. It seems to be taking the place of veteran cars as the kiddie car ride of choice. Normally it's the sort of ride I'd skip, even if there's no queue the chances are I can find a ride more appealing to me to do.

The Paultons Park ones though managed to make me change my mind. They look like an appealing ride as you walk past, and there was no queue for it, so we gave it a go. I'm glad to report that the park has done a great job with this ride.

The real masterstroke is adding an element of educational value to this ride. Rather than a load of fibreglass models or a landscaped garden area, the garden is themed as an allotment garden, where various fruit trees are growing, and various fruits and vegetables are growing in the ground. You could even say they've given this ride a plot.

This gives this ride much more of a sense of purpose than you'd normally get from a ride like this. Instead of being a ride that has little appeal to anyone older than a toddler. This is a very nicely put together ride that the whole family can get some enjoyment from.
