This is a ride I have a lot of history with. Quite a way back now, when Thorpe park was a family park, this was the parks main coaster. I first rode it when I was young, I think it was one of the first 10 coasters I ever rode. Then it was removed to make way for Stealth. I can't say I was upset by that turn of events, but I was glad to hear this was coming back.

Sadly it's not the glorious comeback I hoped for. I don't know if this is because your sensation of speed is lowered without the landscaping you come close to in it's previous incarnation, or if it's now just running slower around the track, but it's lost the exciting edge it used to have. It now goes around at a sedate rate, that fails to generate that high a level of excitement. It serves mainly as a coaster for younger visitors, for anyone else it's a filler ride, worth a quick go on a quiet day, but one to skip if there's a big queue.
