When I first rode this ride the year it opened it was a disappointment. A short and weak ride program meant you only  got one good swing out of it before it was over. Thankfully this situation has now been put right.

The ride design is pretty simple, it's two big pendulums with a pod you ride in on each end. The pods swing back and forth to a great height during the ride. The pendulums now reach full swing a lot quicker, making the ride more exciting as you feel the thrill both from the acceleration of the swing. Plus there's the excitement of the air time as you reach the top of the swing, with only the lap bar to keep you in your seat.

I've read in various publications that these swing thrill rides have been popular, with a large number set to appear in various locations across the globe. It's easy to see why, they may not be quite as thrilling as a lot of the big white knuckle thrill rides, but there a good thrill ride with a broad appeal, that a lot of family groups can enjoy.
